When we moved from Europe, I taught for a few more years, and then my heart was changed, and I decided to homeschool our son when we moved to St Louis. After we started homeschooling, my son’s love of geography grew and so did my passion for travel. I was always researching amazing trips we could take, cruises we could go on, and then my husband encouraged me to pursue my dreams of being a travel agent. We saw so many beautiful places in Europe. We were constantly taking weekend trips to Belgium and Germany and longer vacations to Italy, the United Kingdom, and France. My love of learning about other countries and their cultures continued to grow and I wanted to share that passion with others.
My family loves to CRUISE. We love the excitement of waking up in a different port each morning. We love to explore the destinations, stop in a local pub for a beer, or make sure we see some of the beauty that makes the country well known. I also love all-inclusive resorts. Getting to know the staff, and learning more about their country is so special.
My favorite trip, non-cruise, was when we lived in Europe and took a Rome trip. We had the privilege of taking my 80-year-old Grandma with us on our trip. We had an amazing tour of the Sistine Chapel and then finished the day with a personal blessing for my grandma and me from the Pope. It was a beautiful day that I will always remember.
My favorite places to book travel experiences are cruises and all-inclusive resorts. I also love to learn about new destinations, so if I can make the vacation extra special for them, that is my passion. Some families are taking a once-in-a-lifetime trip, and I want to give them a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
